Whichever choice you make you will have a romantic setting on your special day. Our venue can accommodate a maximum of 40 guests for a seated function or 80 guests for a cocktail function. Honeymoon packages are available and the loving couple is indulged in every way, including finding their room strewn with fresh rose petals.

There is a multitude of unique attractions in close proximity to the guest house. Cape Point, the penguins on Boulder Beach, the historic Simons Town and the recently established Cape Point Vineyards are but a few of the places that have to be seen. You may be fortunate enough to spot the impressive whales that are often just off shore. Ask our friendly staff for more ideas and they will gladly recommend other sites and tours.

"The view from the room was stunning"

"Loved the location and proximity to beach, but felt that for 4 stars they should have had aircon, bar fridge and kettle in the rooms but didn't. Also service during breakfast wasn't great."

"We had a whale of a time at the Whale View Manor. Rooms excellent and staff superb & very friendly. Food (breakfast) excellent. Pat and I spent a very happy 6 days here and we would be happy to recommend to anyone. Plenty to do in the area with superb restaurants nearby - particularly recommend the Harbour House in Kalks Bay (about 10 kms). We will be back soon. Pat & Dennis Smith - Farnham UK"

"Of all the places we stayed in the Cape Town area this was probably the most stylish. Whilst they don't get the SA Tourist Board's 5 star rating - I would guess because of a lack of air con in the rooms - but we felt that this was a sacrifice worth making to stay in such an interesting and well-designed environment. They also served the best breakfast - not so much in content (which was excellent everywhere) but, again, in terms of the stylish presentation. Forget the Tourist Board - this got our 5 star rating!"

"Palatial Review"
18 Feb 2006
By John, United Kingdom
"This is as near to 5 star luxury as one can get. We stayed in other 5 star guest houses which were not as luxurious and the staff are absolutely marvellous. I believe the rating for this guest house should be increased. The breakfasts are fantastic and I have not wanted to take photos of breakfasts before but the fruit and yoghurt is delightful.A place that we would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Simonstown to see the penguins and to explore Cape Point."
