"Nice place but not very clean"

"A comfortable stay in a relaxed and private environment. They can definitely improve on the cleanliness, especially kitchen utensils and appliances that were filthy dirty. We also had to wipe down the couches as they were grimy. Besides that it is a lovely place with everything you need."

"We had such a lovely 5 night stay at Walking Tall. Our highlight was definitely all the visitors. As we arrived we were welcomed by a herd of Kudu. Followed by warthogs, zebra, mongoose, lots of birdlife and giraffe in the park. One female kudu even ate from our hands. The accommodation was perfect, well equipped and secluded. Pity about the ongoing traffic noise from the main road. 2 trips into the Kruger had us seeing lion, leopard, elephants, buffalo, wild dog, and so much more."

Any issues we had were resolved quickly. The environment was so peaceful and having the animals right on your doorstep was such bliss."

"We had a wonderful couple of days at Walking Tall. The Marloth reserve is very well organised and is great to use as a base for Kruger day trips. Walking Tall was very well equipped and suited us perfectly. I hope to come back soon. "

"Had an awesome time, the only unfortunate thing about the stay was the water situation, because of the drought the reseviour ran dry but thankfully the owner had a JOJO tank connected to the house so we were able to shower before leaving. Other than that we enjoyed spotting the different animals every morning coming to drink from the water hole."

"We enjoyed our stay. The "tame" wildlife, not scared of humans, walking around the house, was the highlight! We had warthog, giraffe, kudu, "tarentaal", mongoose and "rooibok" visiting us. Riding around, we also saw zebra. Enjoyed the Oasis restaurant on the Crocodile River. Here we saw crocodile, hippos and a huge "likkewaan". The house, we felt, had two problems. One. The spa.The heater, could not be set and the tap filling it up has no pressure. This all resulted in a constant battle to get the water acceptable. Two. The road. The house is close to the main road. We could not sleep late one morning. At six the very loud pedestrians and busses, cars and trucks woke us up and disturbed the peace. We could only hear the river, and the hippos from about 19h30 at night, when the road's noise subsided.(keeping in mind, we were there over a midweek, weekends might be better. And we do live on a smallholding, so we are not used to any road noise around us. It is very quiet where we stay). Other wise, we thank the owners, specially for the extra hour.(The house is beautiful and well equipped for a self catering house). The field security office for their excellent service. The friendly staff, at the little shops. Marloth Park is well worth a visit."
