"Absolutely fantastic...The Warehouse"

"I booked this incredible house for a group of friends over the weekend- as a birthday suprise and almost an intimate 'farewell' for myself as I am leaving SA.I don't think I could have picked a better venue-in all respects! It's beautifully laid out, the open spaces, the amazing views and the decor that continues to suprise you everytime you stop to look at it- with something you didn't notice the first time around, was perfect in every respect.Everything we needed for an unforgettable time- was provided, from the really comfy beds and gorgeous showers, right down to the Welcome Drinks upon arrival! The koeksisters- a lovely touch, were little mouthfuls of pure delight, (So enjoyable that we did inquire about buying some ourselves from Tannie Hester!) And i was deeply touched by the 'Welcome message' to myself and friends plus the bottle of chilled wine in the feidge for the Birthday girl. These personal touches and gestures- take this house, its owners and staff to the next level!!Thank you for the opportunity to make some life time memories to cherish and to have shared in the experience of this beautiful house and all it offers."
"Pictures do NOT do this place justice"

"We were really happy when we stumbled across this place on the internet as the price was really good and it looked amazing. We said "If the pictures are 50% as accurate as they depict here then we will be happy". The truth is that the pictures do not do this place justice and neither could a video. When we arrived at the warehouse and the beautiful red gate opened we were met by three staff standing in a line. I felt like the Queen who had arrived at her summer residence. We got a tour of the house and none of us could believe that it was so beautiful. This place is 150 square metres of pure design, memorabilia that has been collected artfully over a lifetime. It is so stylish, light, huge, open and peaceful and it has to be seen to be believed. The pictures, for example, do not show the shower which affords a view over Protea Ridge. You can practically shower outside. The beautiful bathtubs and the light in the bedrooms are so unexpected (the three bathrooms). The huge master bedroom, the huge wraparound balcony. The kitchen is simply a delight with every single contraption you can think of and the pool is much bigger than it looks and the temperature is perfect. Seriously, this place lacks nothing. Value for money is outstanding and the owner (who also furnished the place) replied to my messages within minutes and nothing was too much trouble. Simply the nicest place I have ever stayed in. I am counting the days until my next visit in June."

"This house is the ideal weekend (or longer) breakaway place to get away from the city and spend quality time with family, friends or as a couple! It has all the amenities you could ask for, is close to Joburg and Pretoria and just inspires you to calm down and take things easy. It is also close to all attractions and good restaurants."
