The Last Word Long Beach is located right on the beach in the picturesque fishing village of Kommetjie. It is a 30-minute drive from Cape Town. Guests can enjoy the 8 km of fine sand set against a backdrop of the most stunning sea views.
The 5 Star boutique hotel has six luxurious rooms, all with comfortable interiors and private patios. Each spectacularly appointed room faces the sea, as do the bathrooms. The interior design incorporates tranquil blues, hand-painted fabrics with splashes of colour that compliment the exquisite coastal setting.
Breakfasts are a specialty offering a wide choice of interesting fare. These meals are inclusive, as are all beverages. Dinners and lunches are available by prior arrangement. An in-house chauffeur service is available to guests for restaurant transfers or tailored tours at an additional charge.

Kommetjie is one of the premier surfing and marine birding sites in South Africa and it has the countrys tallest cast iron lighthouse which is open to the public.

"Welcome to a little piece of paradise! The Last Word Long Beach is situated right on Long Beach and has absolutely breathtaking views of the beach stretching from Kommetjie and Noordhoek all the way to Chapman’s Peak and Hout Bay. This boutique hotel truly lives up to its 5 Stars and we could not have asked for more. On arrival we were warmly greeted and offered complimentary drinks all afternoon. My partner and I indulged in some delicious champagne cocktails whilst sitting on the deck and watching the surfers in the sea. It was the most relaxing afternoon. Once we were ready to retire to our room we were very impressed with the beautiful open-plan suite that was tastefully decorated in perfect harmony with its seaside location. The suite was spacious and modern and we had a large private balcony with a sea view. It really was spectacular. We had friends visit us to watch the game and they were too treated like royalty by the staff and made to feel very welcome. This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed in with some of the best customer service to match. A big thanks to Hayley for making our stay so wonderful!"
