Serenity Lodge offers their guests two different types of establishments. The Forest View suites and the Lake View suites.
Forest View is comprised of six luxury suites. Each suite is individually decorated to a high standard. All of the Forest Suites are spacious with an en-suite bathroom, and each suite has a private viewing deck. The suites are fully equipped with tea trays and mini bars.
Lake View has three suites. Each suite is positioned around the lake, giving guests amazing views from the suites private decks. There is one exclusive double story luxury suite which overlooks the peaceful lake. The suite has its own private lounge with a fire place, two bedrooms, which are both en-suite. This suite has exclusive privacy.
Exclusive, romantic and secluded, each luxury suite is set amidst the forest foliage giving one the unique opportunity to feel a part of the indigenous forest and sparkling river location.
Serenity Forest Eco Reserve have many activities available, such as, bird watching, hiking trails, beauty treatments and a swimming pool. The Lodge can also arrange guided tours of The Kruger National Park, Mozambique, Swaziland and Pilgrims Rest. This is the ideal wedding venue.

"An incredible place to get away from the busy life of JHB and to enjoy quality time with your loved ones. No network, no tv, no radio, just a beautiful sound of a running river. "The accommodation and food at serenity were exceptional, and the service was even better. It may have helped that only two of the units were occupied for most of our stay, but the staff really did make us feel most welcome and attended to every request.The recent heavy rain in the area may have contributed, but the road condition of the 10km of dirt road to get to Serenity was not great - in a couple of areas I was very happy to be in a vehicle with good ground clearance but certainly not so bad as to require 4x4.Some of the walking trails were overgrown and poorly marked - once again probably not helped by the rain 2 weeks before."

"Serenity is a really beautiful place. The scenery is gorgeous. The service was excellent, and the food 5 star.
The road to reach it is 10km of gravel, and certain places are very rough. Too rough for a normal car. I would recommend going only in a 4x4, or take a good spare tyre with you."
