There is nothing quite like escaping to the unspoilt splendour of the Highveld, far away from the city hustle and bustle. Riverman Cabin is situated in the Tonteldoos Valley, 25 km northeast of Dullstroom, which is only two-and-a-half hours' drive from Johannesburg.
Riverman Cabin consists of seven independent cabins three of which are stone and thatch cabins, and the other three are wooden cabins. All the cabins are fully furnished and equipped for a homely self-catering experience. All the cabins are open plan with cozy indoor fireplaces, as well as private, external braai areas with the wood stocked ready to set your fires ablaze.Riverman offers fly-fishing in three small, but well-stocked dams, a Driving Range, picnics on demand, beautiful scenery on the wattle walk and scrumptious meals at the Mine View restaurant.
Bring along your golf clubs and test your skills at our Driving Range. Golf balls are charged at R40.00 per bucket (50 balls).
We also have a small selection of clubs, for those who aren't regular players, but keen to give it a try. Afterward, silence a rumbling tummy with a delicious meal at The Mine View Restaurant, where you can not only enjoy our infamous alcoholic slush puppies, but also the coldest Jagermeister shots in town!
If the idea of Freshly Baked bread sounds enticing, you can order a bread, freshly baked on demand, in the restaurant.

"What a fantastic break! Walking with our dog in the untouched nature. Very dog friendly and lots of peaceful picnic spots. Definitely take picnic hear with and a good book to read under a shady tree. It was a great break!!!!"

"The unit could do with some TLC. We found the unit to be very, very cold, even with the fire going the whole day. Heaters should be provided for each room. 2nd bedroom upstairs no plug points so no way to heat up that room."
