Overview
Situated in the idyllic Kosmos Village, Reflections is perched right on the banks of the picturesque Hartbeespoort Dam with spectacular 180 degree views of the yachts, dam, mountains and surrounding town. A mere 40 minute drive from Johannesburg, Hartbeespoort offers visitors plenty of activities. These include Arial Cableway, Wildlife Rehabilitation Centres, Zoo, Restaurants, Curios shopping, Hot-air ballooning, Historic sites, Water sports and much more.

Reflections offers an unforgettable private getaway for couples and is the ideal honeymoon retreat. The Studio sleeps two guests on a self-catering basis and is lavishly decorated with antiques offering an eclectic old world charm. The spacious open-plan studio offers air-conditioning, a self-catering kitchen, dining room, cosy lounge with DStv and DVD and bedroom with a king-size bed or twin beds. The en-suite bathroom has a shower only. The living area opens up to a private covered patio with braai facilities and spectacular views across the lush garden and pool deck of the yachts in front of the house, mountains and surrounds reflected on the dams surface. Relax and unwind with a cocktail and music after a days sight-seeing and take in the stunning surrounds.

Guests have full access to the lush garden, pool deck and secure covered parking. We have our own private jetty below the house and launching facilities for watercraft at the Kosmos Marina. We have direct access to the Kosmos hiking trails or enjoy the abundant bird life, for which we provide binoculars, and even hear the lions roar from the Zoo across the water. If you enjoy photography you will not get a better spot during the day or night.
Reflections is the most memorable place to relax and unwind and we are committed to offering our guests the time of their life. Day visitors are welcome as long as they have been pre-approved and there may not be more than four visitors on the property at any one time.

Champagne cruises and spa treatments are available by prior arrangement.

"Without being rude, unpolite or nasty towards the owners of Reflections, we thought it was the worst booking we made in recent years. Although everything on the website photo's were "there", the true reality is that this place is not worth half the R1200 per night it charges. The "studio" is nothing short of a bachelor flat with NO privacy at all, let alone for a honeymoon coupleas suggested. The SMALL towels were old, light brown and "hard". The bed had seen better days. What is "Old charm/ antique"about this place? There were nothing complimentary: in fact there were actually almost nothing in the cupboards. Yes ONLY 2 ofalmost nothing. Lounge?: 2 upright chairs to sit on the whole weekend, a foot away from the bed. To watch TV on the OLD TV you had to move the chairs infront of it. A wobbly SMALL round table with chairs to eat at a foot away from the 2 upright chairs. The patio where you can braai is so small and uncomfortable that it is a hassle. Yes the garden is well kept, but there is NO privacy for you as a guest. Off course the view is stunning, but the ownerscan't take credit for that. After 1 1/2 hours we decided to pack up and leave. We found a lovely thatched cottage on the banks of the river less than 10km awayfor R500 less per night and had a blast of a weekend, withcomplimentary coffee/tea/dish towels/rusks/chocolates AND we hadn't even made a booking.SORRY but Reflections only gets a1 from us for the view."

"Un-matchable and Splendid views. Perfectly situated on the dam - totally breathtaking. With full and private use of the pool and garden we felt like we were in our own little garden of Eden. Our hosts, Dirk and Jacques were completely welcoming. Thank you both! We will definitely be visiting again in the future."

"Amanda and I spent a weekend in Harties, fortunately for us we'd made reservations with Reflections Guesthouse. What a wonderful place to stay! From our hosts Jacques and Dirk who were warm and welcoming to our honeymoon suite tastefully decorated in antique dcor which also included full DSTV service, yay! But the view from the beautifully manicured garden offered stunning sunrises and all the hidden sculptures dotted around made spending time outdoors an adventure. I spent two days there and dont think I managed to find them all! Thanks guys, Reflections gave us a really memorable weekend. Ill be recommending your guesthouse to all my family and friends that need a quite & relaxing time away. Well done!"
