Overview
Puschka is a pet-friendly life-style farm situated in the beautiful Naauwpoort Valley, in the foothills of the majestic Magaliesberg mountain range. The Hex river winds its way through the valley and farm. It is an ideal place to enjoy nature and for bird watchers the bird life is prolific. The Vodacom & Cell C reception is good but the MTN is poor.

The farm offers three beautiful self-catering units; Puschka House, Puschka Writers Cottage & Puschka Stone Cottage. The Writers & Stone Cottages are ideal for couples wanting a quiet and/or romantic get-away. Puschka House is more suited to families and friendly get-togethers.

PUSCHKA HOUSE is located on the opposite side of the river to the main farmhouse, amongst large gum trees giving it a typical South African farmhouse feel. The house is spacious with 4 bedrooms and can sleep a family or a group of eight people with 3 bedrooms with queen size beds and one bedroom with 2 single beds.
The four bedrooms lead off the living area and share two bathrooms and a separate toilet. The living and dining area has a fireplace and is equipped with a TV with DStv. The large kitchen has an old fashioned wood burning stove for cold winter nights.
Guests can relax on the stoep while enjoying a braai or cool down in their own plunge pool. Puschka House is let out as a single unit.

PUSCHKA WRITER'S COTTAGE is on the same side of the river and has one bedroom with a queen size bed, a living room with a wood burning fireplace , a small well equipped kitchen and eating area , & a bathroom with a shower. Outside is a natural plunge pool and a stoep with adjacent braai ( barbeque) area. The cottage is 'off the grid' & has a 12v lighting system with a small inverter for charging cell phones & laptops.

PUSCHKA STONE COTTAGE is on the opposite side of the river to the other two cottages & is about 100m from the main farmhouse. It has one bedroom with a queen size bed, a living room with a wood burning fireplace , a small well equipped kitchen , & a bathroom with a shower and bath. Outside is a natural plunge pool and a stoep with a braai ( barbeque) area under the trees. The cottage is 'off the grid' & has a 12v lighting system with a small inverter for charging cell phones & laptops.

While visiting Puschka Farm, why not climb up to the top of the hill for incredible views of the valley. Many of our guests have their 'sundowners' up there while sitting on the rocky outcrops and taking in the view. There are also a couple of picnic spots along the river.

"I was very disappointed and left the same day. Never stayed over. I will not recommend the place to anybody. I will not pay more than R200 per night. And I felt very unsafe."

"We really enjoyed staying at Puschka Farm. We had such a relaxed weekend, surrounded by nature and animals. The splash pool is beautiful and refreshing, the hikes and picnics were amazing, the people so friendly and helpful. I can really recommend this venue if you are looking for a relaxed and secluded weekend out of Joburg."

"We had a lovely midweek stay. The house is basic, but comfortable and has all you need. Our dogs enjoyed the big lawn and walks on the farm. The staff came to check in once a day to see if there is anything we need, and we even got a picnic basket delivered with fresh muffins and treats. The lovely fireplace kept us warm and cost. We will be back."

"If you feel like the hustle and bustle of the city is overwhelming and you need to reconnect with nature and love this is the place to go. Loved every minute of our stay. Lovely hosts! Fur-kids loved the freedom but a definite highlight was the off the grid system of being self sustained, romance of a fire and connecting with the beauty of nature at its best!"
