Overview
Phumuza means "take a break" in Zulu and that is exactly what we would like you to do. The bush lodge is a 10-minute drive from the town of Bela Bela, which provides a good selection of shops, restaurants, Aventura Hot Springs Resort, an African market, and much more.

All of our chalets and log cabins are self-catering with fully equipped kitchens, each with a cooker, fridge with freezer, and barbecue facilities. Crockery, cutlery and linen are supplied, so all you need to bring is your towels and dishcloths. The emphasis at Phumuza is on relaxation.

We offer 100 acres of diverse indigenous bushveld, prolific bird life and small game, and there is a quaint lookout tower which provides an awesome view of a natural rock pool - ideal for a romantic picnic with picnic baskets available on request. The terrain is fairly flat with interesting walks on well set out paths.

Cool off in our refreshing pool after conquering the bush trails or watch the sun's tranquil and serene farewell at the end of the day while relaxing around the natural rock pool or rise early to welcome its enchanting return at Leopards Rock, named after the sighting of a female leopard and her two cubs.

Please note our cancellation policy ....During peak seasons no refunds are allowed. Please note ... any alterations to confirmed bookings may incurr an admin fee.
