Phumla Cottage

"Phumla" is the shortened form of the Xhosa word "Ukuphumla", which means "to rest" or "to relax". The cottage is a fully contained, modern, stand-alone unit situated in a quiet, secure complex with a communal swimming pool and 24-hour security.

It comfortably sleeps four adults. There are two bedrooms with fresh white linen and built-in cupboards. One of the bedrooms has a door leading to an enclosed courtyard and a braai area. We provide you with a complimentary starter pack consisting of firelighters and charcoal.

The bathroom has a separate bath and shower and there is plenty of vanity storage space. Bath towels and beach towels are provided for guests. There is also a washing machine, a dishwasher, a microwave, a stove and an oven.

The unit is a one-minute stroll from Capricorn Beach, an uncrowded stretch of white sand and endless ocean views. Alternatively, take a two-minute drive to Muizenberg Beach, the well-known surfing spot and holiday hub. You'll find a corner caf, a supermarket, a hairdresser, and restaurants and coffee shops close by. Theres also plenty to see and do for history buffs, nature lovers and kids.

We provide a welcome bottle of South African wine, tea and coffee, and biscuits. The unit is serviced before you arrive and after you leave. Should you wish to have it serviced during your stay this can easily be arranged at an additional cost.
