Ou Skool Guest House is recently renovated from an old school, which was closed down in the early seventies. Ou Skool Guest House is a convenient stopover or holiday base for the tourist, nature lover, businessmen and travellers alike on the route to the Kalahari, Augrabies Falls, Riemvasmaak, Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and the West Coats of South Africa.
We are situated on the Kenhardt Main Road, just 5 km outside Keimoes. Set amongst luscious vineyards in the heart of the Northern Cape, our stylish decorated establishment guarantees a comfortable stay. We offer a range of accommodation that includes a choice of Ten luxury bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms this includes a self-catering unit and family room. Card facilities are also available.
We also offer camping facilities with outstanding ablution facilities, a farm stall as well as a bar on the premises and the coffee shop is open from 10:00 to 20:00. Ou Skool Guest House is pet friendly and should you have any dietary requirement; we cook to your preferences. We look forward to a visit from you. We give the best value for money.

"We so enjoyed our overnight stay at Ou Skool. The classrooms of this old school have been beautifully and tastefully converted into rooms that are named after school subjects. We stayed in the music room. The bedding is luxurious and the bathroom spotless with complimentary shower gel, shampoo etc. Some of the rooms have self catering too. We had a wonderful braai - the braai facilities were great. There is also a small restaurant/bar on the premises and meals can be arranged. Our hosts made us feel most welcome."

"Although DSTV is advertised, there was nothing at the guest house. I booked the triple room (because of the advert showing a kitchen for self catering). I was allocated a different room upon arrival (no microwave) and had to request my original booking. One wall plug was unserviceable and a multi plug was allocated. We had to put the kettle on the ground due to the lead being to short, and remove and insert plugs to make appliances work. Locals adjacent played loud music and had a big party. NEVER AGAIN!!"

"What a beautiful place! Turning an old school into a guesthouse was a fantastic idea and the owner has carried the theme through with school-type room names. The building is beautiful, the lawns and gardens gorgeous and the setting (a working vineyard) exquisite. The staff were very welcoming and friendly ensuring we had a wonderful stay."

"Ons het toe nie daar oorgebly nie, aangesien hulle nie die kamer vir ons geboek het nie, nadat ons die volle bedrag betaal het vir die kamer. Daar was toe n dubbele bespreking gewees en het hulle ons na n ander gastehuis verwys. Toevallig was daar nog mense gewees wat vir n karavaanstaanplek betaal het, en hulle is ook na n ander park verwys is."
