Mountain Chalet is situated on a farm in Kleinfontein, 15 km north of Brits. The rustic and well-equipped chalet is pet friendly and offers accommodation for up to eight people. It is ideal for a family or friends looking for a quiet vacation in the bush, away from all the hustle and bustle.
The chalet is private, self-catering and except for towels, fully equipped. Two double bed bedrooms, open plan kitchen (microwave, two plate stove with oven and a fridge), walk-in safe, lounge with build-in bunk beds doubling as couches by day, aircon, alarm, 24 hour security response, inside bathroom (shower), large under roof patio with a braai, boma, splash pool, outside open shower and toilet
Guests will need a bakkie or a high ground clearance vehicle (doesn't have to be 4x4), to reach the chalet, as the road is rocky.
Game present at the calet - zebra, giraffe, kudu, nyala, blesbuck, impala, black impala and ostrich.
Bring along your mountain bike and try our mtb trails. It includes a floating bridge and have different routes for up to 50 km with single and jeep track for beginners and intermediate to advance riders with great technical skills.
Fish or braai at our beautiful dam on the farm - clubhouse with running water, toilet, tables, benches and two braais.
Klein Paradys Resort is situated next to us and offers a 30% discount (except public holidays) on day visits to my guests. Their facilities - supertube, putt-putt, canoes, braai areas, fishing, tennis court, tuck shop, hot and cold pools.

"Quiet, peaceful and some amazing cycle tracks - everything from green to black trails. After our cycle we jumped straight into the little splash pool (filled specially for your visit, no chlorine, just clear fresh water). Also....there's aircon! A life saver for the hot nights.The road to the Chalet is a little hairy (a high clearance vehicle is recommended) but my little Hyundai Getz managed to make it up the rocky road with some careful driving. Our hostess Mariaan was lovely and unphased that we arrived while they were still setting up the cottage. Also, since there was no-one booked in for the following day, Mariaan allowed us to stay till well after checkout time.We will definitely be back...and next time we'll bring our dogs! Just remember: you need to bring your own towels and a dish scrubber (although dishwashing soap is provided)."
