Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve

Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve is situated just to the east of Graaff-Reinet, in the heart of the Eastern Cape's Great Karoo, and offers an exceptional safari experience in a region steeped in history and culture. The 14 000-hectare property lies in the palm of the Sneeuberg mountain range, the second-highest range in South Africa.

There are three Cape Dutch homesteads on offer which have been meticulously restored to celebrate a fusion of traditional curves and modern open-plan living spaces. Every room is furnished with the most luxurious textures and materials creating a relaxed elegance that allows our guests to feel at home. Between the three Manors there is a combined total of 12 spacious double bedrooms, each en-suite, and one of which is a secluded honeymoon suite offering a truly romantic destination throughout the year.

Full length swimming pools at each Manor cool guests in the haze of high summer, while boma dining, game drives, and guided walks conjure up the magic of days gone by.

The sheer stillness and fresh air at Mount Camdeboo is also highly conducive to successful executive brainstorming. A fully equipped and dedicated conference venue accommodates up to 24 delegates in air-conditioned comfort, with pre-arranged day excursions as an optional extra.
