Overview

For a night under the African skies, head over to the lookout, an elevated thatched viewing deck with a double bed 4 metres away from a big 5 reserve. Nice!
Common to all the room are fans, mozzie nets and quality linen. In keeping with an away-from-it-all bush holiday, there's thankfully no TV or internet.
Out on the deck youve got a portable braai and a splash pool to cool off in.
With Krugers Crocodile Bridge Gate a mere 20 kms away, heading into the park for your early morning or sundowner drive is a doddle. Nearby Lionspruit Reserve is also an option. And, for a bite out, there are a number of restaurants within Marloth Park itself.

"Lion Tree Bush Lodge is a very relaxing place in Marloth Park with a nice outlook into Lionspruit. Is well equipped and due to just 17km away from Croc Bridge Gate a good base for visiting the southern Kruger Park.  "

"We had a great time at Lion Tree Bush Lodge, we didn't want to leave. There is plenty of space and a very well equipped kitchen. Our little boy took a bath and we enjoyed the aesthetic furnishing. The host was very helpful when we had questions. We will definitely be back. Awesome place next to the Kruger! Thank you very much."

"My family had an awesome time at Lion Tree Bush Lodge. While sipping drinks on the deck, giraffes, warthogs, zebras and impala walk on by! Bird watching was amazing. We appreciated the fans and insect nets over the beds. The place had no TV but we did not miss it. Also had a great time inside Kruger National Park."

"Neat and clean. However when we are in the bush, we want to sit around a camp fire and be able to braai. There are no braai facilities and also no pool in a place like Marloth where it gets extremely hot. The geyser in the main bedroom seemed to be giving problems, as there was very hot water for 2 minutes and then only cold water to follow. Also, the plumbing needs attention as the toilets did not flush properly. Overall, we expected more for the money we paid."
