Leopardstone Hill is a unique one-acre indigenous paradise gazing over the green Noordhoek Valley, with breathtaking sea and mountain views. On a clear day you truly can see forever. Your hosts, Alison and Richard Faraday, welcome you to their fynbos eco-system which provides a home for the endangered Western leopard toad and other endemic species. Leopardstone Hill is surrounded by national park and is close to Cape peninsula holiday attractions as well as fine restaurants.

Accommodation is provided on a self-catered basis in Stone Mountain Cottage and Pebble Beach Cottage, privately situated on the property with the most spectacular of views. They each have their own entrances and secure parking for two cars.

The luxurious Stone Cottage sleeps six persons in three bedrooms, two with two single beds in each, and in the main loft-style bedroom in a queen-size bed. The romantic loft includes its own private lounge area.

The open-plan, fully equipped kitchen, dining room and lounge are furnished to the highest standards, ensuring an indulgent holiday atmosphere. The cottage has 2 bathrooms and an outdoor hot-water shower with sea views.

Pebble Beach Cottage sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms and has a large deck with exceptional sea views.

After a day spent exploring the pristine white beaches or hiking in the surrounding Noordhoek mountains, the crystal clear water of the plunge pool set in natural rocks and sheltered from sea breezes, is a welcome relief. The natural wetland pool offers a wonderful swimming experience as well. In winter, guests are provided with wood for the cosy Jetmaster fire.

The kids can explore our wild garden and play chess on the giant chess-set.

"We had a wonderful stay at Leaopardstone Hill. I recommend this cottage to the nature lover or newlyweds looking for a romantic, tranquil and relaxing getaway... Leopardstone Hill boasts a life sized chess set, an all-natural additional pool to the plunge pool, jungle gym and trampoline for the kids, additional outside shower, a hammock to lounge in the sun, an additional braai area opposite the pool area and WiFi at a fair cost. Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Faraday for making our stay an amazing one. We will definitely return in future."

"A cottage with a lot of potential, but a few negative aspects: 1 The owner was on holiday. 2 We were not aware that there was no cleaning services. 3 There was an alarm system but nobody told us how to use it."

"Best place ever"

"To be honest, I am very unhappy with every other hotel my wife and I have stayed in. Some were 5 Star. We always left feeling that something was missing. That why we decided to go for an apartment or cottage. Leopardstone is the one place that we will tell our friends about. It was wonderful, in a great location, and we have never come across anyone that takes care of guests the way Alison does. We came home after a long day and she had put up an Irish flag for us. It was very touching. We give it ten out of ten. The cottage was perfect and beautiful. A must-stay for anyone visiting Cape Town."
