Kwafubesi provides a wonderfully intimate safari experience its small enough to be booked exclusively by families or groups of friends and is entirely self-contained. Most meals are taken on the main deck, by the pool, and it is a common occurrence for animals to wander past during breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Guests at Kwafubesi enjoy the same access to the Reserve as those staying at Mabula Game Lodge, and the same range of activities are on offer. These include game drives with experienced rangers, and guided bush walks that focus on some of the smaller details that make up the Mabula ecosystem. Horseback safaris and quad bike excursions are also options.

Returning from a morning or afternoon of spotting game, Kwafubesi guests return to luxurious en suite tents positioned on raised platforms to take advantage of both the cooling breezes and the panoramic vistas. The pool deck provides an additional sanctuary, while a home-cooked meal in the bomas makes for a spectacular, starlit end to any Kwafubesi experience.
