We are situated in the well established, quiet suburb of Linden, yet a stone's throw away from the heart of our vibrant 'Jozi', and close to all major freeways and tourist attractions. A beautiful tranquil garden is the perfect setting to enjoy the wondrous proliferation of African bird life!
Our four thatch cottages which all have their own unique contemporary African ambiance, are situated in such a way that privacy is ensured. The cottages have their own patio, TV, writing desks, fan/heater, alarm clock, fridge, microwave and coffee- and tea making facilities. Bathrobes and other extras are provided for your comfort.
Our cottage Nyanga' have two twin beds, a kitchenette and private bathroom with double basins and a luxuriously spacious shower.
Our stunning air conditioned honeymoon/family cottage, Umndeni, can accommodate four in two double beds in an open plan setup. It has a private bathroom with shower as well as an enormous bath with mosaic inlay.
Our romantic cottages Kunye and 'Langa' has a Queen bed and private bathroom with shower.
Our four studios 'AMANZI', 'INHLABATHI', 'UMLILO' AND 'UMOYA'. Two are ground floor rooms with entrance via a small private patio. The other two are upstairs rooms with a balcony. One Studio downstairs has two twins beds whilst the other has a queen bed. One Studio upstairs has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds and stunning African decor. Each have En suite bathroom with shower, fridge, microwave, coffee and tea facilities.
Free Wi-Fi is available. Secure, remote controlled parking is available on the property.
There is a great variety of popular (half) day-trips in and around Johannesburg to be experienced, and we will gladly book these for you. Airport transfers are available on request.
We are conveniently close to many restaurants in Linden, Parkhurst, Melville, Greenside and Rosebank. We are centrally located to Business Centres, Conference Centres, Theatres, Art Galleries, Hospitals, Universities and Airports. Shopping malls, grocery stores, golf courses and sports clubs are nearby. Lastly, Delta Park and Emmerentia Botanical Gardens are 5 minutes drive away from us.

"We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Kulanga Cottages. :-) Double room we were allocated in were nice and big with all the necessary luxuries to make our one night stay worth while.Breakfast was excellent, all staff we encountered extremely friendly and helpful!"

"Stayed at B&B Kulanga Cottages July 2008 for 6 nights. Nice, clean place build and decorated in African style with magic touch. Personal friendly. Cottage equipped with TV, Microwave, Fridge, ... including shoe polish. Will stay again."

"This B&B was an excellent place for our family to stay at after the long journey from the U.s.It was about a 30 minute taxi ride from the airport (that Errol at Kalunga organized for us). Kalunga was in a pleasant, safe part of town.The cottages were very "African", but at same time comfortable and clean.We loved the garden, complete with a weaverbird making its nest!The staff was pleasant and the breakfast was fine.I would definitely return if I will have the opportunity to return,"
