Klipplaatz is a located within 600 hectares of bushveld and offers private camps with luxurious tented accommodation. Guests will share the location with eleven different species of wildlife.
The camps either have two or three tents. The tents have crisp white linen with bath towels. Guests are required to bring their own swimming towels. The tents have their own private en-suite bathrooms with toilets and showers.
The camps have their private boma areas where guests can braai. They have partially closed lapas with fully equipped kitchens with four-plate gas stoves, ovens and fridge-freezers. The camps are cleaned daily.
The lodge offers many activities for guests including nature walks, birdwatching, cycling, and of course, self-drive game viewing. There is a swimming pool, a volleyball court, table tennis and a pool table for guests to enjoy.

"great bush veld experience, puts you right there in the bush. nice camp facilities, neat and tidy, braai area is lovely with the bush feeling to it, hearing the lions roar at night just makes you remember your in the bush, and thats exactly what you paid for....the bush. and thats exactly what you get. hospitality was great Ben and Susan are brilliant, and had a lekker laugh. would recommend it for the person that wants to be in the bush."

"I would have given 4 stars but....!We had a magnificent 2-night staybut.......!The place is exactly whatwe wanted but....! Clean but.....!Wellmaintained but....!Good facilities but...!Friendly people but...!Beautiful pool but....!Natural surroundings but....!All very positive but.....!Other guests I spoke toexpressed the same complaint and frustration. It is such a pity that a stupid VERY NOISY GENERATOR, that runs all day and only stops around 9-10pm,spoils the natural sounds of the bush! My sons and Iwould love togo back and we would even'advertise' the place enthusiastically toother family membersandfriendsbut......not before that VERY NOISY GENERATOR 'disappears'.Unless they don't mind losing clients, theowners must find solutions! Super quiet generators exist."

The "Pophuis" campsite was to adorable, had our own little lapa, boma fire place,the tents was pretty not to much glam and not to little, for us, down to earth people that we are, it was just what we wanted for the weekend to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary."
