What We Say
Kanonkop House is consistently ranked as one of the top places to stay in Knysna, and for good reason.

Your stay is defined by the total experience, from warm staff and excellent accommodation, to the great views and perfect location. This is one place you'll want to return to.

The Luxury Lagoon Facing Executive Suites have king size beds and full en-suite bathrooms, private balcony, and fantastic views.

The Luxury Garden Rooms are en-suite with glass sliding doors onto a large deck overlooking the swimming pool and garden.

If there are more than two of you, then the Luxury 3-bedroom villa is a good option. It's a private villa with three en-suite bedrooms, two lounges, a modern kitchen and is suspended over the indigenous forest.

Kanonkop House does a great job of combining service and relaxed luxury for an intimate getaway. With panoramic views to the Knysna Heads, you'll struggle to drag yourself away.

"Of the four places we booked on the garden route this was undoubtedly the most luxurious. After a romantic lunchtime cruise by paddleboat over the lagoon we recovered from an excess of sauvignon blanc by the pool. Georgeous gardens, sweet birdsong from fork-tailed drongos and sunbirds, and, of course, the charming host and family made it an unforgettable stay."
