"We stayed at Jamila for our honeymoon and it was the BEST time in our life. The Management and Staff are very friendly and the environment so relaxing and beautiful. The food is amazing, the views gorgeous and the Jacuzzi on your deck is a big bonus. Not to mention the outside shower. We will definitely return to Jamila."

"Not to be missed"

"Susan and I were guests February 28-March 1, 2012. Our regret was that we did not have an extra night! The position of the lodge and the view from the verandah was breathtaking. The accommodation was beautifully designed, sufficiently luxurious and immensely comfortable. The view overlooking the watering hole was spectacular. The game drives were exceptional and the overall intimacy of dining and sharing the game drives with fellow guests made it very warm anf friendly(we were lucky that the other guests were very compatible company). The food was varied, very tasty and plentiful and the organization and staff led by Lourens, could not do enough to ensure our stay was a memorable experience. We loved every minute and would most definitely recommned Jamila and hope to return ourselves with members of our immediate family. Thank you to all."

"Perfect romantic getaway"

By Stefanie, South Africa
"We enjoyed our stay immensely! We stayed in the Elephant Bugalow with stunning romantic décor and the private Jacuzzi was a winner. Lourens is a wonderful host and good chef; we had delicious meals. The rangers make the game drives very informative. We got to see all of the Big 5 during our three-night stay. You really get the feeling that you are part of the bushveld. The only hitch was the roadworks between Vaalwater and Nylstroom that prolonged our travelling time immensely, but when the roadworks are finished the road will be a dream."
"Nice location"

"Overall very good. Nice location and romantic chalets. Enjoyed the private Jacuzzi in the evenings after dinner. The game drives offered a lot of game especially rhino's on view. Only problem was the parking for your vehicle at the gate where your vehicle is left with no protection to the elements."
