"We rented the cabana cottage and it was great. Cosy yet elegant, spacious yet intimate. The cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed and the host Dennis was friendly and inviting. We had an amazing time and will definitely return to this little piece of quiet country life in the Southern Peninsula."

"We were a group of 4 adults and one 8 year old child and had a cottage and a cabana for 5 nights. Ample space and a very relaxed setting which is handy for both the city and other destainations on the Cape. Plenty of local eateries nearby (The Toad was our favourite) and a large supermarket just a couple of minutes drive away. Dennis was an excellent and knowledgable host and we will certainly use Horizon Cottages again on our next visit to Cape Town. Highly recommended for those wishing to avoid the hassle, high prices and hustle and bustle of the city."

"We loved our stay at Horizon Cottages. Dennis and Jo are so helpful and couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, paying special attention to our two-year-old boy. Noordhoek is a great area with lots of coffee shops and family friendly things to do, as well as a marvellous beach. There is easy access to Cape Town and surrounds. The cottage is regularly serviced and very well equipped. It even has a cafetiere, which is very important in my book!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Very convenient as it is close to a shopping centre. Was a bit close to the road, but fortunately the road was quiet most of the time. We were able to drive to Chapmans Peak a few times and also visit the surounding towns which was beautiful. Did not get to use the pool as we were too busy, but wanted to as it looked very inviting. Our host, Dennis, was very friendly and we would recommend this very affordable accomodation to our friends any day."

"We had a great stay at Horizons! Our cosy wooden chalet had amazing views across the valley and Long Beach. The chalet was clean and fully-self-catering, although we needn’t have brought food as the hospitable owners spoilt us with a free dinner. The owners were very friendly and made us feel right at home. It is a great place to go with kids as there is a huge garden and swimming pool and it is ideal for families travelling together. A lovely stay – thanks very much!"

"We stayed for about a week in a self catering cottage. It was perfect for us. There is good security (being a South African that is important to me), the cottage was clean, there is a nice braai area and patio. Dennis went out of his way to help friends of ours with accommodation that came down for the weekend from Johannesburg. They were just as impressed. I would strongly recommend it to anyone."
