Hathaway Cottage

This is the ideal cottage to get away from it all, as it is situated on The Point in Pringle Bay. The romantic, self-contained thatch cottage has its own separate entrance from the owner’s house and is pet friendly. The cottage bedroom is upstairs and the living area is downstairs. The downstairs area comprises a lounge area with comfy couches, a dining area, a fitted kitchen and the bathroom with a shower. There is a TV with local channels and the choice of two DStv channels. Guests have their own private outside area with an outdoor table and chairs under a reed roof. The secluded upstairs bedroom has a double bed with exposed ceiling, rustic wooden beams and a view of the sea and mountains. Pringle Bay falls within a protected area where one needs a permit to fish, and all the breeding bird colonies in the area are protected. For this reason, you are more likely to catch a glimpse of animal life such as the Cape clawless otter and rare birds. You may have the added wonder of the southern right whales that visit these shores from June through December.
