"A great little hotel in a very nice village on the garden route. Everything you could need for a short break and your hoists Marjolein & Roy will ensure you have a perfect stay.
Town is also walking distance which is great a evening meals are only by request - but with so much choice near by this is no problem. I would recommend anyone to stay here if they were passing through Swellendam and I hope to return again sometime soon."

"My wife and I stayed two days at the De Kloof Luxury Estate and it was absolutely Fabulous. Marjolein and Roy made us feel totally at home. The whole staff could not do enough for us from the breakfast and lunch service to cleaning our car on departure. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated as was the whole lounge and eating areas all situated in a beautiful tranquil setting. We would definitely recommend to everyone."

"Some people just know how to make a guest feel both at home and like royalty. In a beautiful setting a residence of over 200 years old was restored into a more than 5 star resort, where all needs and more are met but in a very laid back athmosphere. We were spoiled with champagne breakfasts, complementary wine tastings, an impressively luxury room and bathroom, and enjoyed the golf driving range, swimming pool and (simple) fitness room. The De Kloof luxury Estate is a must for people staying in the Swellendam region."

"This is a very interesting and stylish guest house with good facilities, including a really excellent pool and Gym. The owners pay careful attention to the guests needs and the wine tasting is an interesting extra. The cheeseboard supper is a good idea as it allows guests to settle in without having to go out again for dinner."
