"I'm afraid the photos and write-ups of this establishment are somewhat deceiving in my view. Whilst a very novel concept, the hotel is cramped and the rooms are furnished very basically. The towels and linen that were provided were old and had holes in; the furniture and decorations were dirty (chairs/scatter cushions), and the mattress was old and worn out. One has to park in the street and Im not convinced that its all that secure, and the noise levels from the street carried on during the night. The front desk managers werent knowledgeable about the area as one would have expected and couldnt provide answers to basic inquiries."

"The spot to be our stay was a mixture of fascination and appreciation. The artistic styles of the rooms in this Boutique Hotel are quite captivating. The rooms were fresh and clean. Everything worked to the favor of the establishment. Located right on Long Street, we had easy access to all the various restaurants and the awesome nightlife of Cape Town. The service was outstanding. I would definitely refer anyone looking for a getaway with a difference to visit Daddy Long Legs."
