"The Bushcamp is ideal for kids. The 6 children with us were all between 5 and 11 years of age. The safety of the camp allowed them to run and roam around picking up beetles, moths and lizards. They were a joy to watch. They enjoyed the game drives as well and Darryl was most helpful and informative answering all their questions and looking up the answers where he was unsure. The dirt road needs improvement as it is too rough for ordinary vehicles. The kitchen was taken over by squirrels which nibbled at our plastic containers with food. At night the lighting in the rooms should improve to allow reading in bed by taking off the covers of the bedside lamps."

"Our stay at Bushwa is one we wont forget anytime soon. We had a relaxing weekend in a beautiful tented camp, stylishly furnished with a stunning inside outside bathroom. There is an all around view of the farm as it is built on the hill. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was very good and of good quality, we enjoyed every meal! We did not want to go home ha ha!Thank you for making our anniversary very special!"

"Bushwa is an amazing place. The entire experience was one of our best. The relaxing bushveld experince is enhanced at Bushwas by the friendly and welcoming staff. Our stay was outstanding, the accomodation is luxurious and well appointed and the Hemmingway style tents are definately worth the experience, The bathroom that opens to the bush and outside shower are exceptional features. The food is 5-star quality. You would never expect such wonderful and different dishes in the bush and yet Bushwa surprised us in the quality and variety of food offering. When you come to the main lodge to eat, you are spoilt with a fully decked out table setting and with the most amazing tastebud experiences. The game rangers are extremely knowlegdeable and share extra detail of the bush on your game drives. PJ was an excellent ranger and a great host during our stay. Annamarie has managed to create a small piece of heaven on earth, all of this built against a koppie with wonderful views accross the reserve. We will definately be back and would suggest Bushwa to anyone who is looking for that ideal luxurious bushveld getaway."

"We had a fantastic time at Bushwa during a weekend breakaway for our wedding anniversary. The staff were friendly, helpful and really catered to our every need. The farm is in great condition, we saw loads of plains game. The luxury tented camp accommodation is amazing and the lodge is truly luxurious for a bush experience. The food was top notch, the onsite chef cooked chicken, game, lamb all to perfection, all weekend long. Highly recommended, we'll surely be back soon."
