"A great experience, not soon forgotten."

"Meals of great quality served at an ideal position with a splendid view of "The Kloof". Very comfortable and well-equipped cottage nr 8 but with a bit difficult access path (for elderly people). Very much enjoyed the game drive with Bruce, who proved to be a very knowledgeable guide.Establishment response:Dear Jan and GrethaThank you for your review and kind words, it was a pleasure meeting and hosting you both! The chalet that was allocated to you was, in fact, one of the furthest from the lodge offering the privacy often enjoyed by younger guests.Had we known your age upfront we would definitely have allocated one more accessible to the two of you.All the same, we are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us and hope to welcome you both back to Bosch Luys Kloof again in the not too distant future with the rest of your family!Best regards from the Great Karoo,Bruce (Manager) and the Bosch Luys Kloof team"

"This was the most fabulous family getaway for a special 70th birthday celebration. We were fortunate to virtually have the lodge and staff to ourselves and cannot thank all involved (Gerhard, Ans, Bruce, Christie and Staff) for the wonderful food and informative stay."

"From the minute you open the gate of the reserve one can tell that you are in for something rather special. The Lodge is spacious and airy with the pool providing a place to cool down. The chalets are very well appointed. Everything you need-including a bath for 2 and outside shower.WowDinner and breakfast, after our early morning safari, were delicious.Altogether a remarkable experience. "
"Amazing stay"

"We had a wonderful stay at Bosch Luys Kloof Private Nature Reserve. The views were spectacular, it looks beautiful on the photos but to really appreciate the beauty, you have to be there and see it for yourself. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home.We went out on a game drive in the morning and it was awesome! Bruce is extremely knowledgeable, we learned a lot about some of the animals, their behavior and even about the different plant species in that area. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to do another one in the afternoon again, and that didnt disappoint. There were so much to do and we didnt get around doing everything that we wanted to, so we would like to go back there and stay a bit longer.I do not feel that any words can describe the food. Ive never enjoyed any food as much as we did during our stay there. We could see that Derick didnt just prepare the food because it was his job but because he has a passion for doing it. We were asked after every meal if we wanted some more food, so we had more than enough to eat at every meal.It would seem that they have a great team of people at Bosch Luys Kloof Private Nature Reserve. We had a great time there and would recommend it to anyone!"

"Had an awesome romantic stay at Bosch Luys amongst the rolling hills. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. They even went the extra mile when my partner locked his keys in the boot of his car. Would definitely recommend"
