"Disappointing Destination"

"We booked in at the breathtaking Antlers Country Lodge expecting to enjoy the tranquil beauty it has to offer. We soon found out that there was also a Barnyard Theatre on the same property and that there was a concert at full volume which only ended at close to midnight. We left the next morning for a long trip exhausted and grumpy. No mention of the concert was made on arrival and no apologies were given. I do not think you can accommodate a country lodge and as well as a theatre on the same property. Very disappointing!"
"Good but not great, expectations were higher"

"First cottage was mouldy, stains on the bedding and the windows didn't close. The log cabin, the main door would only lock from the outside and the geyser didn't work. After driving 9 hours it was the basic need. Management was very understanding and attentive but our stay was not all that good. Great country view though."

"A lovely and peaceful part of the Garden Route, which invitingly beckons one to relax and enjoy the beautiful setting of Antlers . As a family we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"We had a very pleasant evening at Antlers. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Unfortunately, we were under a bit of a time constraint and unable to spend time enjoying the beautiful grounds."
