Acra Retreat **Mountain View Lodge** is THE PERFECT STOPOVER POINT BETWEEN JOHANNESBURG AND THE KRUGER NATIONAL PARK, after a long flight or for a relaxed & stress free return back home.
Positioned on the edge of a cliff, Acra-Retreat is situated on the border of the Elands Krans Nature Reserve which gives you a soothing and most amazing Mountain Panorama.
We feature an outdoor pool & children's pool, sheltered barbecue facilities and a beautifully manicured garden.
Acra-Retreat Mountain View Lodge has a fully licensed and very well stocked pub. Sundowners & cocktails can be enjoyed on the deck or at the pool. Relax and enjoy in the peace and tranquillity that Acra Retreat offers.
All individually decorated rooms offer a private entrance to the decks / gardens with Mountain Views. Each room is fitted with a TV and satellite/DStv/OVHD channels.
Tea/coffee facilities, a safe, a hairdryer and (ceiling-) fan are standard.
Toiletries, towels and additional pool towels are provided.
Of course we also supply the linen, bedding, additional blankets and everything else necessary for a relaxing good night sleep.
The rooms are serviced daily!
Scrumptious dinners are served in the evening but you can also use one of our braai (BBQ) facilities. We will support the cutlery, condiments, wood, charcoal,....

"We had a one night stop over on the way to Sabi and was really impressed with Acra - The very friendly staff was accommodating and provided excellent service. Wish we had more time to partake in some of the wide range of activities offered. The lodge has a really welcoming homely feel with comfortable surprisingly spacious rooms. Dinner options in the town was limited but we made the best of it and had a very nice meal at the lodge. Will be booking a longer stay in the near future."

"What a beautiful venue with a stunning view, not to mention the friendly and outstanding hospitality of our host, Holger - who personally welcomed us. His staff is just amazing, friendly and so efficient. Then there is the superb cuisine and nice bar! All the extras like pool towels, proper coffee and milk, flat screen, DSTV, bathroom amenities, etc made it an unforgettable experience. Truly a place to relaxing away from home."
