"A very spacious room, with a big, clean bathroom. I truly appreciated the clean linen and chocolates on the bed. The hostess was exceptionally friendly and so helpful.. she is a gem. We would definitely recommend this accommodation. Huge thanks"

"Disappointing stay"

"I once stayed at purple gecko in 2010 , it was a lovely visit filled with welcoming and warmth. I was sadly disappointed on my arrival to be informed that instead of the 3 nights I had booked for they can only accommodate me for 2 , I felt put out since I had made the booking 2 weeks earlier and no one called me to inform me otherwise. Even when informing me of this , they showed no remorse whatsoever and just gave me an ultimatum ad to ," this is entirely up to you whether you take it or find yourself accommodation elsewhere. " I was sadly disappointed especially since I had already paid them an amount of R3550 remaining amount of R350 on arrival. When I asked about the refund I was informed that it will take up to 48hrs before I get it . Sadly enough the following morning I was woken up by a call that I must come pay them an additional amount since we were 4 instead of 2 ppl . I asked them of the full amount for our stay , I was informed that I just need to come and pay the R800 . I then called safari (who made my booking) they clarified the matter with the establishment and they advised them to refund me R950 and that I didn't owe them any additional amount. It's been 6 days now since I stayed there and I still haven't received my money back . Totally unsatisfied with the place and am never staying there again."

"Loved the lovely large and clean room. Nicely decorated. Bathroom was huge too! Room was a bit dark though, with only one small window."
