What We Say
Conveniently located in Cape Town, Blackheath Lodge is a delightful boutique guesthouse. Built in the late 1880's, the owners have retained the Victorian-style design and finished it off nicely with an eclectic mix of African and modern furnishings.

The Standard Double rooms have extra-length king size beds, flat-screen TVs, WiF ... the usual comforts. The Deluxe Double rooms have eclectic decor and are equally comfortable and private, as are the Loft Rooms.

If there are more than two of you, then you'll want to check out the Loft Suite (sleeps 4) which has its own private sun terrace.

With friendly and helpful staff, sweeping views and comfortable suites, this hotel is one of our favourites near the City centre.

"We had a very pleasant stay. Antony was a gracious host and very helpful with excellent advice on restaurants and things to do. The room was very comfortable. The butternut quiche for breakfast, served on the sunny veranda, was wonderful."

"The place was beautiful and well taken care of. The rooms were marvellous and spacious. The best was the staff of the lodge, they are friendly and always cheerful. It felt like we were home away from home. Many thanks for a spectacular holiday."

"We really enjoyed our four days at Blackheath Lodge. The location is excellent. The house and rooms are stylish and tastefully decorated. We liked the terrace overloooking the pool where we had breakfast, with some unique and very tasty bites (great for vegetarians as well) created by Jules. Anthony and team were always welcoming and helpful with advice and recommendations."
